Our professionally trained and expert coaches actively coach each class that you attend. Personal coaching like this would normally cost a fortune in traditional gyms, but here at Steel Coast CrossFit, the coaching session is included in all our memberships.

You’re more than a number to us! We want you to get the attention you deserve every session and that’s why all our classes are at the appropriate coach to athlete ratio, meaning we will have more coaches on the gym floor as our class size increases.

At Steel Coast CrossFit, we take pride in ensuring our athletes are taught the right way building strong foundations from the beginning. Every Month (sometimes more often) we have dedicated skills session for all levels of fitness and capabilities breaking down movements from gymnastics and weightlifting. These classes are run by our head coach Vicki where she gives away all the secrets she’s picked up along the way that helped her to become one of Australia’s national level CrossFit athletes.
<strong>Multidisciplinary Functional Training</strong>
Multidisciplinary Functional Training
Our program uses functional movements that your body is naturally designed to do, combining elements of cardio, gymnastics, weightlifting, cycling, rowing, and more to improve your overall fitness in a balanced way. We test often to see where you’re at, our strength and conditioning program is periodised. We program so you can train 6 days per week, should you want to.
<strong>Extra Performance Programming</strong>
Extra Performance Programming
We realise everyone has different goals, do CrossFit for different reasons. We offer this extra programming for athletes who are wanting to take their training to another level. All athletes are to complete the daily class at prescribed weight and skill to then be able to add the extra training in their time.

All our members have access to showers and change rooms which have complimentary toiletries i.e. shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Our facilities are professional, clean, and are available before and after every session.

Log your workouts and track improvements through our smartphone app. Monitor your progress, record your personal achievements, engage with other members, and get feedback from your coaches.

I Have always had an active background; swimming, playing sports and going to the gym with a main focus of trying to lose weight and improve my overall fitness. Most of the time, I would be putting in all this effort and not seeing results. However, 4-5 months ago a friend recommended I try something new, he had just joined Steel Coast. I found after a few months in, changes happening such as weight loss, strength, flexibility, but most of all my overall confidence. This has made training at Steel Coast so addictive, turning up to a class with people from all different levels of fitness pushing you to to do your best and also seeing all the changes they are making, is amazing. At this current moment I have lost 8kgs, lifting heavier and competed in 2 in house competitions to which I would never have done without the support from those at Steel Coast.

I started my CrossFit journey in October 2017, I was 23, over weight and severely lacking confidence. After a few sessions I had a week off and was feeling sore and sorry for myself but the movements and the environment had me hooked. I returned a week later and have love it ever since. Steel Coast was the first gym I had ever signed up for. I had always made excuses about starting, thinking that it’s too scary or that I’m unfit for CrossFit, but the day I walked into Steel Coast these thoughts were gone, I felt included and a part of a great community. There are things on my list I’m yet to master but the list of things I have accomplished inside the gym is always growing. CrossFit has made me both physically and mentally stronger, I now have a new found confidence inside and outside of the gym.
